Tweaking with your computer:
You are all here to get the get the latest version of IDM for free, some of you have tried other solution but they didn't work, so you got in here. And they are some of you that came here because you are very irritated about the message "IDM have been registered with a fake serial" popup every time you download something. These annoyance caused by Tonec can be removed, but you can't do anything if you just uninstall and install time after time, trying new solutions and called the author "idiot" "liar" because their solution doesn't work, but in reality, it works perfectly. So you need to tweak your computer before trying out solutions.
Uninstall cracked version of IDM
The solution that are supposed to work but doesn't work on your computer is because you have previously installed an cracked solution by someone else and that solution is known by Tonec. Therefore, Tonec knows this computer have fake serial; although you uninstalled the solution that doesn't work, Tonec still knows that this computer is registered with a fake serial. I would strongly recommend to reinstall your operating system, but not everyone can do this, so we can give it a try by just uninstalling the software. This time, do not use conventional un-installation; use a powerful uninstaller such as
revo uninstaller or
iObit uninstaller or other reputable uninstaller that works fine with your computer. If you use uninstaller, make sure you clean up all the leftover with their professional tools so your computer have no trace that IDM exsisted.
Edit Host File
When you have finished installing windows 10 or uninstalled IDM completely, the first thing you should do is edit the host file.
The host file is located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
To edit the host file, rename the file to hosts.txt and open with notepad. To change file extension, go to view in your file explorer and check "show file extension.
Host file will look something like this.
At the end of the host file, enter these texts.
127.0.0.1 tonec.com
127.0.0.1 www.tonec.com
127.0.0.1 registeridm.com
127.0.0.1 www.registeridm.com
127.0.0.1 secure.registeridm.com
127.0.0.1 internetdownloadmanager.com
127.0.0.1 www.internetdownloadmanager.com
127.0.0.1 secure.internetdownloadmanager.com
127.0.0.1 mirror.internetdownloadmanager.com
127.0.0.1 mirror2.internetdownloadmanager.com

After completion, save the file, then rename hosts.txt to host.
If you did it successfully, when you access the website of IDM and other website shown above in the texts, it should look like this (even if you have Internet connection):
Final Words
After you completed my steps successfully, you can go and look around the website and find IDM that is in your language and install it. If you see that popup again, uninstall with the same process and find another one, hopefully this won't happen, because you blocked the software.
